Xpilot-AI Installation Guide
Xpilot-AI is installed on all the lab computers in New London Hall 214, and located in the /lib/xpilot-ai folder. It can be ran with using the following command:
xpilots & xpilot-ai
Linux
Xpilot-AI 1.1 (Linux)
To install Xpilot-AI 1.1 on Linux systems:
Follow the setup instructions from: https://oak.conncoll.edu/parker/com407/Xpilot-AI_setup.txt
This setup should work for Linux systems.
Mac
Docker Installation (Recommended - Mac Silicon Support)
Xpilot-AI supports Mac Silicon through Docker containers.
Container support is available in this repository: https://github.com/ConnAALL/xpilot-ai-docker
Legacy Installation Methods
macOS Sierra Installation
Note: For older Mac systems or if you prefer source installation
Prerequisites: 1. Get Xcode from the App Store 2. Open Xcode in order to agree to the Xcode/iOS license 3. Install XQuartz from https://www.xquartz.org/
Download and run the script, and you will be given the option to install Xcode (or to install the Command Line Developer Tools).
Xpilot-AI 1.0 (Mac OS X Snow Leopard)
To install Xpilot-AI 1.0 from source (specifically on Mac OS X Snow Leopard w/ Xcode):
Download and run this script:
curl -O http://xpilot-ai.org/downloads/xpilot-ai-1.0/xpilot-ai-1.0-mac.sh
chmod +x xpilot-ai-1.0-mac.sh
./xpilot-ai-1.0-mac.sh
